With a few parameters and some AI would it be possible to product layouts of the factory plans. Planning the factory and then getting a suggested physical layouy would be insane. The planner is already amazing (fantastic job!) --- Group by machine type/function vs Group by in-series/circuit involvement + Vertical layout allowed (what is on each level) + Machine Spacing (tight, medium, spacious) Resource Logistics: Logistic Unit Spacing - how close to machine can inputs/outputs be tight, medium, spacious Input Strategy- how to feed the machines Manifold vs Load Balancer Mixed (load balance between mini-manfolds, e.g. instead of 1 x 240 manifold you create 2 x 120 unit manifolds Input Logistics: Factory floor (all connections are in the open. Ask how many connection path levels are required, 1,2,3 etc) Logistics floor (all machines not in series are fed from floor hole connectors) Just some thoughts. Love your work!
