Connecting Factory's input not matching.

Say I make a factory making copper powder requiring 1100 copper ingots per minute as a input, coming out of the input node. And in another (smelter) factory I am making 2000 copper ingots meant to go to multiple factories. If I connect the Smelter factory to the Copper Powder one, all 2000 ingots go to the Copper Powder factory when only 1100 should be. If I then connect the same 2000 ingot line to another factory as well, the line then gets split 1000 to the Copper Powder factory and 1000 to the other one. All that should happen instead is each factory should only take what is needed.
